Dipak Tharu is a Senior Research Associate at BK School of Research. He is Co-founder and Research Manager at Young Professional Development Nepal. Professionally, he has developed a rigorous understanding and expertise in project design, management, implementation, and advocacy, and has collaborated on several projects with national and international organizations.
Academically, Mr. Tharu is a PhD Researcher at the Institute of Social Research and Cultural Studies, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, and holds a Master’s degree in Political Science, Anthropology, and English Literature from Tribhuvan University.
His main fields of interest are migration, gender, transnationalism, social transformation, social inequality, social integration, and social cohesion. He has expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research, employing extensive data analysis tools.
